Vegan Baked Pumpkin Doughnuts
Hello friends! I hope you are having a wonderful day. I can’t believe that it’s already December so I hope that it’s not too late for this pumpkin doughnut recipe! (is it ever too late for doughnuts though?) These baked doughnuts have the best texture! Just like a cake doughnut you would buy at the store. The streusel topping is wonderfully sweet while being the perfect melty addition. You won’t believe that these doughnuts are much better for you and personally I have really been enjoying them a lot. My friends loved these doughnuts! So if you don’t believe me believe them! Vegan Baked Pumpkin Doughnuts Ingredients For Doughnuts 1…

Earl Grey Tea Cupcakes (vegan)
A few years ago I went to New York and while I was there I had to go to the Baby Cakes bakery. I had bought their recipe book a while before even thinking about going to New York city and knew that I had to go! So I journeyed through the other side of China Town to find the small bakery. The treats I had were good and the company I had that day even better! We then took a metro line we weren’t very familiar with to get back to our hostel in Brooklyn which turned out to have a confusing detour on it so it was in…

Rhubarb Crisp
In the summer time my family tends a huge garden in our backyard. Every year one of the things that grows is rhubarb! And this year I’ve decided to experiment with it! Rhubarb not pictured here but look at our garden! This is just part of it And here is the rhubarb. I picked it from here myself though I do have to admit that I don’t have the greenest thumb Despite it usually appearing in desserts, rhubarb is actually a vegetable! It’s a wonderful summer time vegetable at that too. Most often it’s paired with strawberries to sweeten it up as rhubarb can be a little sour for some…

Lavender Apricot Earl Grey Tea Cake
I don’t know about you but I simply adore lavender! For one I love the purple color but I also like the calming effects it has. I often sprinkle some lavender essential oils on my bed to help me sleep at night. I’ve been meaning to bake some treats with lavender and saw my chance when I found this lavender extract at Home Sense! The lavender extract smells lovely and it adds a wonderful aroma and taste to baked goods. I also find that -as with the essential oil- consuming lavender extract also gives a calming effect. If you don’t have lavender extract feel free to use vanilla or almond…

Chocolate Quinoa Candy Bars
I’m not always one to want to make no-bake treats, simply because I love turning on the oven and seeing what I’ve mixed up turn into something new. I have to say though that these no-bake candy bars are changing my mind. They are probably my most favorite thing I have created in a while! These candy bars are packed with all the good things. They have no processed sugar, can be made paleo, are gluten-free, and vegan! and they are so so so good!! I really suggest that you make them stat! If you wish to make these paleo, you can substitute the peanut butter with almond butter I…

Caramel Date Stuffed Pumpkin Cookies (vegan)
A couple months ago I saw the Dracula Ballet! I know what you’re thinking its either “how can there be a ballet about Dracula?!” or “man that’s so cool, I wish I could see the Dracula Ballet”. It was an amazing show. The dancers were wonderful and the show was something I would have never expected to see in a ballet. There was suspense and horror, cute moments, and special effects. The dancers sometimes flew across the stage attached to wires from above and there was one part where Dracula slowly climbed to the ceiling only to hit a chandelier at the moment the chandelier sparked causing sighs of astonishment…

Chocolate Buckwheat Cupcakes
I have noticed that there seems to be a lack of cupcake recipes on Cupcake Kat. This is something I hope to correct because I do love cupcakes. I think I just make muffins more as they are like cupcakes but for breakfast. Here is a great cupcake that even I doubted would taste good but you can be rest assured that they do. They are gluten free, vegan, sugar free, and oil free! The buckwheat gives them a chewy and wholesome texture so without icing they make acceptable breakfast cupcakes (yes I just said that) Chocolate Buckwheat Cupcakes 1/2 cup buckwheat flour 2 tbsp sorghum flour 2 tbsp rice flour 1/4…
